Manicure Gone Bad
We are such bad doggy parents. The trim guard wasn't working correctly on Snickers nail clippers and we accidentally trimmed a nail too short. Boy, did we feel bad. Poor Snickers didn't let out a peep. She must be so used to having been in pain from having had the bad leg. I know it hurt, because when we put the medicine on to stop the bleeding, she winced, but never made a sound. So, the rule is, check the clippers before you clip!

Poor little Snickers. Mom wouldn't trust herself with anything to do with me getting groomed so I get to go to the groomers and get pampered:)

Thanks for the dremel grinder tip. We haven't tried that. I wonder if Snickers would be good with that? We felt awful for hurting our good little dog.

tell u something, mom once accidentally cut my playmate's nail a little too short too. my playmate bleed and the mom was soooooo worried and my mom? feel teeeeeeeeerible too but can't do much since it's already done! she is now very cautious when cutting other doggie nails.

poor dear! does snickers have black nails? that makes it so difficult to trim them. HM always errs on the side of caution, she leaves my nails a little longer than they should perhaps be :)

Aw poor Snickers. Mum is too scared to even attempt doing my nails in case she cuts me. My nails are really black so it's had to see where to cut to.

Poor Snickers, I hope it doesn't hurt too much!! Your parents are very brave by clipping your nails. My mom doesn't even think about it. I have black nails and she is always worried about them, so my vet does the work.

Snickers, are you feeling better now?? Thats why I always ran away when trimming time....I just hate it.
Poor Snickers - sending hugs your way, and also to your mum and dad - I can understand you must feel bad, but it was an accident, and I am sure Snickers forgives you.

That's why I refuse to let my parents clip my nails. I let the vet do it, only if they can hold me down and avoid being bitten!
